What a finished house looks like

Eight projects from the last season, photographed by the crews who did them. HEART AND DAGGER SOUTHERN LTD always photographs the same way: before, during and after, with the scope that went with it.

Behind the photographs

Every project comes with a scope

The images are nice, but the useful part is what sits behind them. For each job HEART AND DAGGER SOUTHERN LTD holds the diagnostic photographs, the written scope that was approved, the readings where relevant, the parts used and the after photographs taken on the day of handover.

When a client asks us two years later why we recommended a particular part, we can answer with the actual measurement from the actual visit rather than a recollection. It is unglamorous bookkeeping, and it is the reason our quotes tend to hold up.

It also means that when a job goes sideways, we can see exactly where. That has happened. Twice in the last year, a customer complained that a finish was not right, and we were able to look at the before photograph, the humidity reading on the day and the batch of product used, and work out what had happened. Both times it was our fault, and both times we redid it at no cost.

A season in numbers
